Dave, Karen and Angela visit the Coalesce Center for Biological Art at the University of Buffalo, together with Dr Maria Fernandez (Department of History of Art) and students on the undergraduate course in Media Studies. We meet with Paul Vanouse, the Director of Coalesce, and Solon Morse. The events include participation in a bio-art laboratory class with artists, discussion about the links between art, the humanities and the life sciences, and strategies for teaching across the disciplines.
